Dear my Longleaf Elementary families,
Hello! I have missed you so much - and hope to "see" you very soon! Now, take THREE deep breaths... then, give yourself a HUGE HUG from me! Please know that you all are always in my head and my heart . I created this website to try to reach as many of you as possible.
These are unprecedented times for sure - for schools, for parents, for students. Please give yourself grace as we all try to navigate through this new way of learning, communicating and living. We are all in this together. That being said, I want you to know that I am here for each of you - even though the way I am here for you will look very different for a while longer.
Hopefully this website will provide you with resources that you need - as well as the best way to contact me.
Right now, you are on the HOME (introduction and support) page, but I have also created two other pages called ABOUT (me) and more... CONTACT ( referral form to contact me is here ). The LESSONS page is under construction - I plan to upload even more Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources, games, parenting resources, classroom lessons including Safer Smarter Kids lessons and any other links you would find helpful. I welcome your input for sure.
Please be on the lookout for times to Zoom with me and others in your class / grade - and know that you can request a Call or Zoom meeting with me so we can Check In with each other.
Finally, please share this site with others - this really is for the whole family since there is a lot for you to enjoy (check out the virtual field-trips - right from your couch) and learn together on this site

Students - Go to the Activity sheet on the CONTACT page... try to get a Bingo every week! Complete 5 activities in a row - horizontally or vertically - by the end of every week!
Parents - help your children identify an activity they would like to do when they complete a row (for example, maybe they could bake their favorite cookies, explore a new bike path, have extra time on a favorite video game, go on a Scavenger Hunt around the house or yard... etc.)
